Behavior Assessments: Assessments are done in order to assist clients in obtaining information about a pet’s behavior (is it normal or not) and how to obtain medical treatment. Discussions include what questions to ask, financial preparations, time commitments, medical evaluations, and lab tests that may be required by the client’s veterinarian in order to obtain a diagnosis. Environmental management techniques, cleaning protocols for urine and feces, and training techniques that provide consistency and improve relaxation may also be taught. Pawsitively Pets, LLC does NOT diagnose behavioral problems; we DO refer clients back to their veterinarians for medical care. Implementation of Behavioral Therapies: Clients need support to implement behavioral modification programs after you’ve made a diagnosis. You provide the recommendations and we help the client make them happen! Behavioral Data Collection: Let us gather the information to help your behaviorally challenged patients! In home observations of pets, collection of video data and detailed behavioral history collections can be done in the comfort of your client’s home by a trained professional. The information is then available to you for diagnosis in your hospital or for referral to a veterinary behaviorist. |

| What Veterinarians Can Expect from Pawsitively Pets, LLC | ||||||
|
When we work with your clients to implement behavior modification training for diagnosed problems you will receive progress notes for your medical records after each appointment. These reports will detail the methods used, progress achieved, and any recommendations made during the appointment. In all cases, we will refer clients back to your hospital first for further evaluations, products, and medical care. Pawsitively Pets, LLC is a limited liability company that maintains its own insurance, records, and client information. We do not sell client information and only release information to veterinarians with a signed consent form from the client. Clients are billed directly by Pawsitively Pets for any services unless other arrangements have been made with a veterinary clinic or veterinary behaviorist. |
